What Doxis solves across industries
Regardless of industry, organizations face similar challenges: information sits scattered across different systems, document-based processes cost time, and regulatory requirements keep growing. Doxis connects content, systems, and processes in one central platform.

FAQs about ECM for industries and departments
Which industries does Doxis support?
Doxis is used across banking and financial services, insurance, manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, retail, pharma and life sciences, and public utility companies. Each industry page shows the typical use cases, systems, and regulatory requirements Doxis connects to for that sector. If your industry isn't listed, Doxis's platform approach still applies: it centralizes documents and data and automates workflows regardless of sector.
Which departments can use Doxis?
Doxis supports Purchasing and Procurement, Human Resources, Legal, Marketing, and Accounts Receivable and Payable, with dedicated solutions for each. These departments can run on the same underlying platform, so a company doesn't need separate systems for legal contracts and finance invoices, for example. Other departments can use the same core platform even without a dedicated page.
Can Doxis be used by more than one department or industry at the same time?
Yes. Doxis is built as a single platform, not a set of disconnected point solutions, so the same instance can serve Procurement, Legal, and Finance simultaneously while respecting each department's access rights and workflows. This is what lets an organization standardize on one system instead of running a different tool per department.
Does Doxis integrate with our existing ERP, CRM, or SAP systems?
Yes. Doxis connects to SAP, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, and other ERP and CRM systems through dedicated integrations, including Doxis SmartBridges for systems like SAP SuccessFactors and Microsoft Dynamics 365. Employees can access Doxis-managed documents and data from within the systems they already use, rather than switching tools.
Is Doxis available as cloud, on-premises, or hybrid?
Doxis supports all three deployment models. You can run it as a fully managed cloud service, in your own data center, or in a hybrid setup that combines both, choosing whatever fits your IT strategy and compliance requirements.
How is Doxis different from a generic document management system?
A generic DMS mainly stores and retrieves files. Doxis goes further by connecting documents and data across your existing systems, automating the workflows built around those documents, and applying access rights, retention rules, and audit trails so information stays usable and compliant. That combination is why Doxis is positioned per industry and department rather than as a single one-size-fits-all product.
