Doxis, The Document Intelligence Company, unveiled a new generation of AI-powered Document Intelligence innovations at the Doxis Summit 2026, helping organizations unlock greater value from enterprise content while maintaining the trust, governance and control required for AI success. More than 600 customers, partners and industry experts from around the world attended the company's largest-ever Summit in Munich on May 20 and 21.
Global leaders shared real-world success stories
The Summit featured customer-led sessions from organizations including Nestlé, Eli Lilly, BSHG (Bosch Group), Kerry, SEW-EURODRIVE and more, who presented how they are streamlining complex processes, improving compliance, accelerating decision-making and unlocking greater value from enterprise information with the Doxis Intelligent Content Automation platform.
Nestlé shared how it is building a trusted foundation for governance, compliance and AI innovation. The company recently completed a massive global migration project, consolidating 30 TB of enterprise content, 20 million metadata records, 15 applications and 40,000 users onto a single governed platform. The initiative provides the scale, security and control needed to support AI innovation across Nestlé's global operations, which span 185 countries and more than 270,000 employees.
Doxis announces innovations to help organizations operationalize AI
The Summit also provided attendees a first look at the latest Doxis innovations designed to help organizations operationalize AI safely and effectively, including:
- Ask Doxi – A new context-aware AI assistant that helps users move from searching to understanding, enabling natural language access to enterprise content with fully traceable answers and source references.
- Agent Manager – New capabilities for creating and governing enterprise AI agents, giving organizations greater visibility, control and trust as AI takes on more autonomous tasks.
- Enhanced Superhuman Search features – Designed to improve search experience, combining metadata, full-text, vector and AI-powered search technologies to deliver faster, more accurate and trustworthy answers across enterprise information.
Senior VP of Product Douglas Cardoso also previewed the Doxis roadmap, including new capabilities for intelligent communications, Workday and SAP integrations, insurance workflows, automated metadata enrichment and AI-powered knowledge discovery across enterprise content.
Building trust and business value in an AI-driven world
Trust in an AI-driven world was a central theme throughout the event. In his opening keynote, Doxis CEO Dr. John Bates explored the opportunities and risks of the current AI revolution, arguing that organizations need safeguards that prevent hallucinations, enforce governance and ensure predictable outcomes in mission-critical processes.
"AI is creating enormous opportunities for organizations, but in the document world, trust is everything," said Bates. "The winners won't be those who simply adopt AI the fastest. They'll be the organizations that combine innovation with governance, context and control. That's what Document Intelligence delivers."
Technology futurist Peter Hinssen and IDC Senior Research Manager Amy Machado explored both the opportunities and challenges of enterprise AI adoption. While Hinssen highlighted the unprecedented pace of AI-driven change and the need for organizations to adapt faster than ever, Machado emphasized that AI success ultimately depends on a strong content foundation.
Together, their keynotes reinforced a key message of the event: organizations that classify, govern and connect information effectively will be best positioned to turn AI investments into measurable business value.
