Head of Global People Operations

As Head of Global People Operations, you will lead our global People Operations function and play a key role in shaping a scalable, business-focused and high-performing People organisation.
Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, you will lead a team of approximately nine People Operations professionals supporting employees and managers across our international locations.
We are looking for a commercially minded leader who enjoys building scalable organisations, leading through change and developing exceptional teams.

Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop an international People Operations team of approximately nine HR professionals, fostering a high-performing, collaborative and accountable culture.
- Build organisational capability by developing your team, strengthening functional expertise and creating clear development opportunities.
- Own the operational performance of the global People Operations function, ensuring consistent, efficient and high-quality support across all supported regions.
- Set priorities, allocate resources and ensure the effective delivery of People Operations across the full employee lifecycle, including HR Business Partnering, Employee Relations, Employment Law and Payroll.
- Partner closely with senior business leaders.
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex employee relations, organisational and employment law matters, balancing commercial decisions with sound judgement and people-focused leadership.
- Drive the continuous improvement, simplification and standardisation of global People processes, policies and operating models to support future business growth.
- Ensure compliance with local employment legislation and company policies across all supported countries while partnering with external legal counsel where required.
- Develop and monitor People KPIs and operational metrics to identify trends, improve decision-making and continuously enhance the employee and manager experience.
- Lead organisational change initiatives, restructurings and post-acquisition integration activities from a People perspective.
- Work closely with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Finance, and other key stakeholders to deliver a seamless and consistent People experience.
- Foster a culture of operational excellence, accountability, continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across the global People function.
What You Bring
- Several years of leadership experience within an international HR or People Operations environment.
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing HR or People Operations teams.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations and HR operations across multiple countries.
- Experience supporting international payroll processes within a global organisation.
- Experience supporting HR operations in the United States is highly desirable.
- Strong business acumen combined with excellent judgement and a pragmatic approach to solving complex people challenges.
- Experience leading organisational transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- A data-driven mindset with experience using People metrics and insights to improve operational performance.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with executives and senior business leaders.
- A collaborative and hands-on leadership style.
- Outstanding communication skills in English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
