DOXiS Archive
The DOXiS Archive server is the content repository within the DOXiS iECM Suite and it provides all necessary services for audit-proof and legally compliant archiving and retrieval of all types of documents throughout the whole company. By means of “virtual media” DOXiS Archive gives the user maximum flexibility, exceptional optimisation possibilities and long-term investment security. Comprehensive DMS functions, distributed storage, scalability in various dimensions, medium-based hierarchical storage management and mechanisms for replication complete the scope of functions.
Fields of application
With DOXiS Archive you can manage much more than conventional documents. The term “document” is used in a broad sense in DOXiS: it includes nearly all information which is available in a digital format or which can be converted to digital format. Amongst other things this means electronic documents in the most diverse formats, emails, any type of files, scanned images, multi-media objects and much more. Complex documents may consist of elements in different formats. There is an option to combine documents to form records.
